CBDSliderA

CBD Massage

Cannabis: the plant that keeps on giving. Its uses are incredible and can be traced back thousands of years. There are various species of cannabis, and cannabidiol (CBD), is one that has been gaining a ton of popularity. People are still often cautious of using CBD oils as they sometimes confuse CBD with THC, but there are actually stark differences between the two. While THC is known to get people high or alter their state of mind, CBD does neither. It is not psychoactive and also has more medical use than THC.

Our bodies naturally produce endogenous cannabinoids, which are the same structure of plant cannabinoids. We have two receptors for cannabinoids, but CBD doesn't act on them directly. Rather, it seems to encourage the body to use more of its own cannabinoids. The plant cannabinoids last longer in the body because our bodies aren't used to breaking them down. We obtain our CBD from organic sources with minimal ingredients.

Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and fibromyalgia. You may also experience sweating or nausea. After treatment, the skin around the rim of the cup may become irritated and bruised in a circular pattern.

Hot Stone

Hot Stone

During a hot stone massage, the techniques of a regular massage are applied and your therapist will hold a smooth basalt hot stone in their hands and use them to massage with. This allows the therapist to get deeper into the muscles without more pressure, while helping their client to relax yet further.   Hot stone massage is usually performed on the back of the body.

Jade Stone Massage

Jade Stone Hydrotherapy is a healing technique in which the therapist uses hot and chilled carved jade stones to assist in therapeutic treatments. One massage stroke with a heated stone is the equivalent to seven with just your hands and the chilled stones although used sparingly in a treatment are 80 times more powerful for treating acute conditions. By using a style that can incorporate both hot and cool stones you will receive the benefits of thermotherapy as the heated stones allow the therapist to work deeper in to muscle layers and hydrotherapy as the chilled stones can help to treat inflammation and release toxins and are a great choice to treat conditions that effect the sinuses or circulatory system. Jade Stone Massage helps activate the natural healing processes in each patient's body as well as to restore their physical and emotional well-being. As a certified Massage Therapist, I help patients reduce their stress and anxiety, among other ailments.

Reiki

Reiki is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy. Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. Reiki Practitioners understand that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others. It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is true a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

Myo-facial Release

Fascia is a specialized system of the body that has an appearance similar to a spider's web or a sweater. Fascia is very densely woven, covering and interpenetrating every muscle, bone, nerve, artery and vein, as well as, all of our internal organs including the heart, lungs, brain and spinal cord. The most interesting aspect of the fascial system is that it is not just a system of separate coverings. It is actually one continuous structure that exists from head to toe without interruption.   Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create Myofascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures that do not show up in many of the standard tests.  A high percentage of people suffering with pain and/or lack of motion may be having fascial problems, but are not diagnosed.

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.    This is combined with Trigger point therapy to treat skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles."
This service is used in all therapies.

Trigger point therapy

A trigger point is a tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain in other parts of the body. Trigger point massage therapy is designed to alleviate the source of the pain through isolated pressure. In this type of therapy,  the recipient actively participates through deep breathing as well as identifying the exact location and intensity of the discomfort.  The results and benefits of trigger point massage are releasing constricted areas in the muscles thus alleviating pain. You can experience a significant decrease in pain after just one treatment. Receiving massage with trigger point therapy on a regular basis can help naturally manage pain and stress from chronic injuries.
This service is used in all therapies.
